These are the features of the new Z SEVEN. Please read over this information several times so you will be able to discuss these features when giving demo’s at FDIC.
It is an AVON-ISI proprietary network that reduces power consumption by more than 50%. This system eliminates any cross interference from any other SCBA. There are 16000 discrete bands.

Standards:
Meets the new NFPA 1982 Standard, 2007 Edition of 500º F at 95 db at 10 feet. The NFPA 1981 Standard Heat/Submersion Test. Heat SCBA and all electronic components, including VAS to 350ºF for 15 minutes, place in 5 ft of water for 15 minutes. Activate PASS, VAS and any other electronic feature, if it turns on, turn off, and repeat five more times. The last test, open battery compartments, submerse for 30 minutes. No water can enter into circuit board housing.
PASS Muffle Test
Ambient air, 95 db at 10 feet, lying face down, fetal positions left and right, must read 95 db.
Console communicates with the PASS Alarm Assembly through the wireless network.
2600 to 3100 Hz using five different frequencies within this band to create the warble effect of the alarm. There has to be a 500 Hz frequency that gives direction. We may be the only one that uses all six bands separately to hear the 5000 Hz.
Records 2000 events. An event is “on”, off, pre-alarm, full alarm manual activated and full alarm time activated. That’s five events. Can be downloaded wirelessly using AVON-ISI software (available last quarter of 2007)
New cylinder spoon to meet the NFPA standard of no movement more than 1 inch in any
direction.
Analog gauge for a redundant feature.

Smart Link Display available by February, 2008 Monitors the following:
Battery status, cylinder pressure, real time temperature, day and time, events logged, calibration values, PAN #, TEAMS # and electronic links activated.
Any software changes in the future such as VAS settings, PASS motion sensors or calibration values can be downloaded wirelessly using AVON-ISI software.
